FOTOS DE SOFÍA BRAVO
El 20 de septiembre quedará grabado en la memoria de 15 mil almas que agotaron el Movistar Arena para ser parte de una celebración que fue mucho más que un simple concierto. Las Pastillas del Abuelo no solo llenaron el recinto, sino que también nos recordaron la esencia de la amistad, la música y las raíces de una banda que sigue latiendo en cada rincón del país.
El número 20, tan significativo para ellos, marcó la fecha. Como en la lotería, fue una fiesta cargada de símbolos. La banda, con su inigualable estilo, lo hizo nuevamente: generaron un “sold out” y transformaron la velada en un evento “histórico”, como lo definieron ellos mismos.
Con un imponente despliegue visual (multiplicidad de pantallas gigantes) y ese show de luces que ya es marca registrada, Las Pastillas salieron al escenario a las 21:30 (puntual), y desde el primer acorde de “Amar y envejecer”, el público quedó hechizado. Ese tema, con un sutil arreglo electrónico, fue apenas un adelanto de lo que sería una noche memorable.
Uno de los puntos más altos fue el tema “¿Qué es Dios?”. La canción maradoniana que evoca al Diego, a los héroes de Malvinas y que despierta en el público un clamor fervoroso contra los ingleses. Apenas terminó, el público se unió en un grito único: “El que no salta, es un inglés”.
Piti Fernández recogió el guante y festejó. Pero enseguida aclaró: “Eso fue de los que dirigen. Hay ingleses muy buenos como los Rolling Stones y Los Beatles”. Y enseguida sonaron los acordes, desde el teclado de Ale Mondelo, de “Here Comes The Sun”, como un puente musical entre Liverpool y Villa Crespo.
La noche siguió con momentos vibrantes, y como sorpresa, irrumpieron en el escenario invitados de lujo: El Mosca, Pablo Coll y compañía, con quienes tocaron dos clásicos de Dos Minutos: “Amor suicida” y “Ya no sos igual”. En medio del pogo, el público coreó cada estrofa, con los “sos buchón de la Policía Federal” retumbando desde cada rincón del estadio.
Otro invitado fue el baterista Fernando Scarsella, ex Rata Blanca, quien se subió al escenario para tocar a doble batería con Juan Comas el tema “Cambios de tiempo”.
Las sorpresas no terminaron ahí. La banda desempolvó joyas como “Saber cuando parar”, un tema que no suele sonar en los shows y que, sin embargo, fue coreado con pasión. Cuando sonaron los primeros acordes de “Ojos de dragón”, parecía que el show llegaba a su fin. Pero el retorno fue glorioso con un popurrí de éxitos: “Loco por volverla a ver”, “Enano”, “Tantas escaleras” y, finalmente, cerraron con “Viejo karma”, dejando al público con el alma llena y el corazón palpitando al ritmo de las últimas notas.
La noche fue una sinfonía de emociones. Piti Fernández, con su voz profunda y desgarradora, lideró una banda que, como siempre, brilló con intensidad. Bochi y Fernando, en las guitarras, entrelazaron melodías complejas y hermosas, mientras Mondelo en los teclados aportaba esa atmósfera envolvente, tan característica. Santiago en el bajo y Juan en la batería marcaron la base sólida que sostenía cada tema, y Joel, con su saxo, inyectó sensualidad y profundidad en cada intervención.
Las Pastillas del Abuelo no solo ofrecieron un espectáculo; Construyeron un puente entre el pasado y el presente, entre la amistad y la música, entre la argentinidad y el mundo. Cada acorde fue un suspiro, cada melodía una celebración, y cada canción un abrazo colectivo. Piti prometió para el 2025 un show en “algún estadio” y otro Movistar Arena. Por más música, por más Pastillas.
