IRÉ es el primer álbum del proyecto La Juanita, liderado por Nicolás Repetto, y marca el inicio formal de una etapa largamente gestada: la de su faceta musical puesta en primer plano. El disco estará disponible en todas las plataformas digitales a partir del viernes 19 de diciembre y reúne seis canciones de autoría y composición propia, con un espíritu íntimo, cálido y profundamente orgánico.
Lejos de una aventura improvisada, IRÉ es el resultado de un trabajo cuidado, rodeado de músicos de primer nivel y con una identidad sonora clara. El tracklist está compuesto por:
“Iré” (feat. Rubén Rada), “Tierra y mar”, “Flotar” (feat. Renata Repetto), “Nada espacial” (feat. Renata Repetto e Isabela Aladro), “Nada menos” (feat. Renata Repetto e Isabela Aladro) y “Trama la vida”.
“Iré”, el primer corte con Rubén Rada
El primer adelanto del álbum fue justamente “Iré”, canción que da nombre al disco y que cuenta con la participación especial de Rubén Rada, una leyenda viva de la música uruguaya. Su aporte en voces y coros no solo jerarquiza el tema, sino que establece un puente natural entre generaciones, estilos y sensibilidades.
La presencia de Rada no es un gesto decorativo: se integra con fluidez a una canción que propone movimiento, búsqueda y decisión, conceptos que atraviesan todo el álbum.
Un equipo musical sólido y diverso
Además de Rubén Rada, el disco cuenta con la participación de Renata Repetto e Isabela Aladro en voces. Aladro, finalista de La Voz, aporta matices vocales que enriquecen el clima del álbum, mientras que Renata suma una presencia íntima y natural que dialoga directamente con el espíritu del proyecto.
La base instrumental está integrada por:
- Santiago Olariaga: guitarras, bajo eléctrico y teclados
- Ignacio Mendiverri: viola
- Julián Semprini: batería y percusión
- Gonzalo Levin: saxo alto y tenor
En los coros participan Florencia Raggi, Damián Dewailly, Oriente Olariaga y Eva Govea, completando un entramado sonoro coral y elegante.
Producción y sonido
La producción ejecutiva estuvo a cargo del propio Nicolás Repetto, mientras que la producción musical, los arreglos, la dirección musical, la grabación y la mezcla fueron responsabilidad de Santiago Olariaga, una figura clave en la cohesión artística del álbum.
La masterización fue realizada por Mauro Cambarieri, garantizando un sonido final equilibrado y contemporáneo.
El resultado es un disco de escucha amable, con canciones que respiran, sin excesos ni artificios, donde cada elemento cumple una función clara.
La Juanita en vivo y el cruce con el teatro
Parte del repertorio de IRÉ fue interpretado en vivo en Ferona (La Juanita, Punta del Este), en simultáneo con una obra teatral producida y creada por el propio Repetto. Ese cruce entre música y escena no es casual: forma parte de una búsqueda expresiva integral, donde distintas disciplinas dialogan entre sí.
En este contexto, Repetto hace una pausa en su agenda para invitar al público a sumarse a una propuesta musical cercana, honesta y sin pretensiones grandilocuentes.
Nicolás Repetto y la música: una historia de fondo
Aunque es ampliamente reconocido por su extensa trayectoria televisiva —coronada con varios Martín Fierro de Oro—, la relación de Nicolás Repetto con la música viene de lejos. Desde joven se mostró apasionado por este lenguaje y es coautor de las cortinas musicales de todos sus programas.
Este nuevo proyecto lo encuentra comprometido, serio y profesional, pero con un rasgo que él mismo subraya: el espíritu amateur de quien hace música por amor, no por obligación. Esa combinación —rigor y disfrute— es una de las grandes virtudes de IRÉ.
