Un título con guiño glam y espíritu de celebración
El nombre del single juega con el clásico “Rock n Roll”, reemplazando “rock” por “rouge”: una palabra que, más allá de su sentido literal —el color rojo del labial—, se transforma aquí en un símbolo de poder, sensualidad y autoconfianza. En ese gesto, Piwa propone una relectura contemporánea del rock desde una mirada glam, pasional y provocadora, donde la energía se expande hacia lo bailable y lo visual.

El single reúne un equipo de producción de primer nivel. La dirección general estuvo a cargo de Lucas Porcel, quien también grabó, tocó bajo, guitarras y coros. La mezcla corrió por cuenta de Max Kamienomosky y la masterización estuvo en manos del histórico Mario Breuer, referente indiscutido de la ingeniería de sonido en Latinoamérica.
Además de la voz principal de Piwa, el tema cuenta con la colaboración de Paul Higgs, quien aporta una segunda voz e imprime una textura singular al estribillo. El arte de tapa fue diseñado por la propia Piwa, reafirmando su perfil de artista integral.

“«Rouge n Roll» nació como un juego, pero terminó siendo una declaración. Quería tomar algo tan clásico y pesado como el ‘rock n roll’ y teñirlo con rouge, con ese toque glam que es sensual, pasional y también un poco de seducción. Es una canción que para mí es una especie de despertar en technicolor.
La letra habla de cómo todo gira alrededor nuestro, de cómo la música puede escapar de la mente y transformarse en un mundo nuevo, lleno de color, que se comparte con la gente. Quise que el tema tuviera esa dualidad: la magia de una atracción que parece ficción, y al mismo tiempo la certeza de que existe, que está en cada melodía, en cada banda que te sacude el cuerpo.”
