The Rolling Stones presentó "Angry", el nuevo single de su próximo álbum "Hackney Diamonds"
La legendaria banda británica The Rolling Stones lanzó este miércoles «Angry”, adelanto de su nuevo y esperado álbum «Hackney Diamonds», que saldrá a la luz el 20 de octubre y que interrumpe la ausencia material original desde «A Bigger Bang» (2005), y también el que marca la primera producción sin el baterista y fundador del grupo Charlie Watts.
El anuncio fue realizado por Mick Jagger, Keith Richards y Ron Wood en un evento especial de prensa en el histórico Hackney Empire, el epicentro de arte pionero del este de Londres por casi 125 años.
El lanzamiento fue presentado por la estrella de televisión de Estados Unidos Jimmy Fallon, conductor del exitoso programa televisivo “The Tonight Show” y fue transmitido mundialmente vía YouTube.
El nuevo disco de The Rolling Stones
En ese marco, la legendaria banda confirmó la fecha de salida de su nuevo álbum, “Hackney Diamonds”, junto al primer single del disco: “Angry”, a siete años de “Blue & Lonesome” (2016), que reunía versiones de varios clásicos de blues. .
Se trata del 24to disco británico -o 26to estadounidense- del conjunto y del primero integrado por canciones originales de la legendaria banda inglesa desde el lanzamiento de “A Bigger Bang”.
“Hackney Diamonds” marca la primera colaboración de los Stones con el productor y músico neoyorquino Andrew Watt, que fue nombrado Productor del Año en 2021 en los Premios Grammy y trabajó junto a figuras como Pearl Jam, Iggy Pop y Elton John.
El álbum está integrado por 12 temas, que “se irán develando paulatinamente y fue grabado en varias locaciones alrededor del mundo.
El rockero “Angry” viene acompañado de un video musical dirigido por Francois Rousselet, quien trabajó con los Stones en “Ride ‘Em On Down”, del álbum “Blue & Lonesome” y protagonizado por la actriz Sydney Sweeney.
