Mariana Bianchini, cantante y compositora argentina, ganadora del premio Gardel al mejor álbum de rock alternativo por “Matrioska“ en el 2019, cantante de la banda Panza, presenta nuevo disco «Curtihembra». El nombre surge de la idea de sintetizar la contradicción de los signos de la decadencia física con la confianza, seguridad y firmeza que te dan tantos años de trabajar en y con uno mismo.
Según la artista, «Curtihembra» es -en un sentido poético- «el sitio donde se lleva a cabo el proceso de curtido de pieles de mujeres adultas. Este lugar se ocupa del proceso de transformación de pieles secas y quebradizas, vacías de colágeno y elasticidad, en armaduras de acero quirúrgico, plástico o cartón, dependiendo del nivel de resistencia que necesite desarrollar la hembra. La densidad y firmeza que adquieran dependerá del tipo de experiencias vividas desde su temprana edad.»
«Curtihembra» es un spa, un taller mecánico, una clínica de rehabilitación o de cirugía estética, un sex shop, el quinto disco de Bianchini, todo lo que necesites para salir adelante.
Este flamante trabajo contiene diez canciones propias e inéditas que forman parte de la banda de sonido de este espacio que se abre para todos:
1 – «A Mardel«: ´Empiezo a rebalsar, hay que cambiarme de maceta, el tiempo pasa aunque no quiera…´
2– «Clean is good«: ´He saturado todas las nubes buscándote en Google y en otra piel..´
3- «Ritual de limpieza«: ´Calma, prendo el bluetooth del alma..»
4- «Modelo 76«: ´No salgo más con bateristas, cuando todos se toman el palo, me quedo desarmando y vos estás hablando con tus fans.´.
5- «Distancia prudencial«: ´Me arranco el corazón, le pongo lavandina en algodón no vaya a ser que me enamore..´
6- «Re loca«: ´No preguntes como estoy no ves que estoy re loca y no es la ovulación..´
7– «Tía Efedrina«: ´Un buen libro, una canción un vino, ahora que los chicos duermen vas a descansar..´
8- «Cotillón«: ´Vos, me hablás de irnos a algun lado donde estemos pixelados´
9- «Punto Ciego«: ´Quiero resetear, me alejo para enfocar´
10- «Flores«: ´Necesito los subtítulos para entenderlo…´.
«La música de «Curtihembra» abreva en tradiciones cosmopolitas y se apropia de ellas: recurre a un folclore imaginario en donde se pueden escuchar ecos de un latinoamericanismo tecnológico mutando a math rock en “A Mardel”, a los ritmos de New Orleans en “Ritual de Limpieza”, a los arreglos del indie inglés en “Modelo 76” o la orquestación a la Burt Bacharach en “Cotillón”. Queda planteado un juego de descubrimientos en cada canción que no vamos a develar acá.», agrega la artista.
En este disco, Bianchini está muy bien acompañada por Lulo Isod en batería y percusión, Cam Beszkin en bajo, Sergio Álvarez en guitarras, loops y teclados y Juan Pablo Compaired en saxos, teclados, arreglos de brasses, strings y woodwinds.
