Después de un 2025 marcado por grandes hitos, La Vela Puerca despidió el año con una noche inolvidable en La Rambla de Montevideo, frente a unas 40 mil personas, en el marco de su gira por los 30 años. Fue un show único, profundamente simbólico, tanto para la banda como para su público uruguayo, con una lista demoledora de 34 canciones, invitados especiales y una emoción que se sintió de principio a fin.
El recital fue mucho más que un cierre de año: fue una celebración colectiva, un repaso por tres décadas de canciones y una reafirmación del vínculo irrompible entre La Vela Puerca y su gente. Montevideo fue el escenario perfecto para coronar un recorrido histórico de la banda.
Los invitados de La Vela Puerca
La noche estuvo atravesada por la participación de músicos invitados, amigos de la banda y referentes fundamentales de la música uruguaya, que se sumaron para acompañar este momento tan especial. Entre ellos, Chole, mítico cantante de Abuela Coca —banda clave en los comienzos de La Vela en Uruguay—, participó en “Burbujas”. De esa misma formación también dijeron presente Morón y Paulo Zuloaga, aportando sus vientos en “El Bandido”, “Burbujas”, “Pedro”, “Mañana”, “Vuelan Palos” y “Llenos de Magia”.
La lista de invitados de La Vela Puerca siguió creciendo con Gabriel Peluffo (Buitres) y Guillermo Peluffo (Trotsky Vengarán), quienes se sumaron en “Los Reyes de los Buzones”, desatando uno de los momentos más celebrados de la noche. Por su parte, Garo Arakelian, exintegrante de La Trampa y actual solista, aportó su impronta en “Clarobscuro”.
También participaron Pablo Silvera y Matto Bello de Mota en “Colabore”, mientras que las leyendas del candombe Chabela y Lobo Núñez dijeron presente en “Cerca del Mar”, aportando raíz y emoción. La nómina continuó con Juan Casanova de Los Traidores en “Llenos de Magia”, Rodra en “Tormenta” y el rapero uruguayo Arquero en “La Pastilla”, sumando diversidad y cruces generacionales.
A ellos se sumaron Mc Gregor, que participó en “Los Reyes de los Buzones” y volvió a escena en “Por la Ciudad”; Manolo en “Común Cangrejo” y “Pedro”; Flor Sakeo y Santullo en “La Sin Razón”; Balbis en “Ves”; Batra en “Mañana”; y Gian en “Zafar”. Además, Neamwave, Flor Sakeo y Mota fueron las bandas encargadas de abrir la noche, calentando el clima desde temprano.
Como broche de oro, para cerrar la noche, dos perlitas que quedarán guardadas en la memoria colectiva: un emotivo homenaje a Robe Iniesta (cantante de Extremoduro) y el final a una sola voz de 40 mil almas cantando a capella “Jose Sabia” y el verso: “Al dolor de seguir vivo que es lo bueno que tiene el dolor y también al placer de ganar y perder, cuando todo parece jodido es cuando hay que poner”.
Estos meses de La Vela Puerca estuvieron dedicados a celebrar sus 30 años de trayectoria, aniversario que la banda cumplirá oficialmente el 24 de diciembre. Durante todo el recorrido, La Vela llevó esta celebración a más de 50 ciudades y dieron más de 53 shows, entre presentaciones nacionales e internacionales que los llevaron a distintos puntos de América Latina y Europa. Dentro de este extenso camino, otro de los momentos más destacados fue el festejo a su debida altura en el Estadio Ferro en Buenos Aires, donde más de 25 mil personas se sumaron a la celebración.
